When marriage fails and circumstances change, those affected can feel alienated or even ostracised. We understand the reality of the pain and grief that can occur when a marriage breaks down.

Separated and Divorced Archdiocese of Wellington

Every year a Mass is held for those who are separated and divorced. The 2019 Mass is on Wednesday 25 September at 7pm at St Peter and Paul’s Church in Lower Hutt.

Tribunal of the Catholic Church

The Tribunal assists with the pastoral care of the divorced person who has remarried or is intending another marriage in the Catholic Church. It may also assist a divorced Catholic who is seeking clarification of his/her position for peace of conscience or for reassurance in developing relationships in the future.
