The Sacrament of Confirmation was celebrated on Sunday 24 June in Our Lady of The Bays Parish of Richmond, Motueka, and Takaka. Cardinal John Dew confirmed 33 young candidates at the Mass held at St Peter Chanel Church in Motueka. The group was blessed to have Bishop Paul Martin concelebrating. He was also present at sponsor to his nephew Sam Hall. ‘There was a wonderful turnout of parishioners from across the parish,’ Mrs Maureen Phillips, Principal, St Paul’s School, Richmond said.
