Children flocked from Muritai and other schools in the area to San Antonio Church Eastbourne on the feast of St Anthony of Padua, June 10, to join those from San Antonio school and their parents for a children’s Mass.
Fr Albano Da Costa invited the children to join him on the floor in front of a special altar and let them set the pace – unlike children’s experience of most Masses, the adults had to wait while Fr Albano asked the children what they understood from the gospel reading of the day.

The next children’s Mass will be on Sunday August 12.
