NZ Opera auditions for the children’s chorus for Carmen at the NZ Opera office space, 195 Willis St, Wellington (entry is from Feltex Lane, behind the Warehouse Stationery store),   between 3.30pm and 6.30pm. Concert featuring a church organist and a choral tenor from Paris, Sunday 30 April, 2.30pm, at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Wellington, to raise funds for the Cathedral organ. Johann Vexo, organist, Nancy Cathedral, and choir organist, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris; and Damien Riviere, tenor, Notre-Dame Cathedral Choir, Paris, will present a concert of music by Bach, Alain, Vierne, Durufle and Langlais in support of this fundraising cause.
