On Saturday 26 May, Wellington’s Catholic rugby club, Marist St Pats, hosted almost 200 former players, coaches, managers, supporters and special guests to its annual Old Timers’ luncheon at its Hataitai clubrooms.
MSP, one of Wellington rugby’s most popular clubs (MSP has a proud tradition of supporting the right of all to participate in sport) at both adult and junior levels, has won Wellington Rugby’s premier Jubilee Cup trophy 11 times in its 36-year history.
Before Marist Old Boys RFC and St Patricks College Old Boys RFC amalgamated, the two clubs had won the Jubilee Cup six times.
