Students, staff and parents of Cardinal McKeefry School, Wilton-Northland, celebrated Shrove Tuesday with an array of delicious pancakes. The community came together to share a pancake breakfast to mark the end of Ordinary Time before Lent. Families were treated to American, Indian, French and Kiwi-style pancakes as parents cooked, using recipes from their home countries. Principal Tania Savage said, ‘This is the first time we have celebrated as a whole community. Our school community is very active and we are richer for that.’
