The Focolare Movement is responding to an increasingly multicultural and multi-religious society worldwide, with an afternoon discussion with a world leader on interfaith and cross-cultural dialogue.

Director of the International Office for Interreligious Dialogue for Focolare Roberto Catalano holds a Doctorate in Missiology and a Masters Degree in Philosophy, and was involved in interreligious dialogue in India where he lived for 28 years.

Now based in Rome, he organises symposiums on mutual understanding and reflection between the world’s faiths in Rome and throughout the world, highlighting the richness of dialogue.

He is a professor at the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome and has written numerous articles and books on this subject.

This special encounter, entitled ‘Together in dialogue towards the unity of the human family’, will take place on Saturday 17 May, 3-5pm, at Johnsonville Uniting Church, 18 Taylor Terrace, Johnsonville 6037.For more information call: (04) 477-9538 or (04) 478-7962.
