We present team pictures for more winners in May’s O’Shea Shield public speaking and drama competition for colleges in Welington Archdiocese and the Diocese of Palmerston North. Our full report appeared last month.

St Mary’s College: Precious Sy, Sinead Keane and Min Yi Lee won the Mercy Cup for Religious Questions, Section B. Katie Barrott won the Cardinal McKeefry Cup for Oratory, Section A.

St Joseph’s Maori Girls College: Lyric Bird won Te Kaipanui i te Kupu cup for scripture reading in Te Reo Maori, Section A donated by Bishop Charles Drennan.

Cullinane College: Pounama Tawaroa won the Te Kaipanui i te Kupu cup for scripture reading in Te Reo Maori, section B, donated by Cardinal John Dew.

St Bernard’s College: Nathan Chan, Declan Wilcock and Itai Mumwiro won the St Mary’s Cup for the Best Affirmative Debating Team. Connor Bliss, Daniel Raju, Sam Su, Lio Soane and John Ulu won The Society of Mary Cup for Drama. Luke Pynenburg won the Catherine McAuley Cup for Scripture Reading Section A.

Chanel College: Luke Hempleman won the Bishop Cullinane Cup for Oratory Section B. Joseph Croskery won the Silverstream Cup for Impromptu Speaking Section B.

St Patrick’s College, Silverstream: Marcus Hewitt, Joshua Powell, Thomas Gilbert, Fa’amanu Taeao, Albert Latailakepa won the Bishop Owen Snedden Memorial Cup for Drama.
