Days of grace

The polar blast has pummeled us, 
now the sun makes its cartwheeling entrance. 
Peace hovers on the surface of the water.
Let us stand upon the ground.
Let us drink down the air. 
Let us soak ourselves in song.
Let us live our fleeting days under the influence.
