WelCom March 2019:

You are invited to a series of talks, discussions and reflections leading to local action. From 7.30pm–9pm, Thursdays, 7, 14 and 21 March, St Theresa’s Parish Hall, 210 St Andrew’s Rd, Plimmerton, this ecumenical climate and environmental series is open to all.

There will be guest speakers followed by questions and reflection. People will be invited to consider how to take action in response to climate and ecological challenges we all face.

Thursday 7 March: ‘Climate change – What is it? What’s happening?’ Professor Martin Manning (thiniceclimate.org/martin-manning).

Thursday 14 March: ‘We are all connected – the Christian response to the ecological challenge.’ Catherine Gibbs, Catholic tertiary teacher, parish social justice committee member, environmentalist and advocate for Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’.
