Josephine (nee O’Malley) and Allan Brady cut the cake at a community celebration in St Peter Chanel Parish Hall to mark their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married by Fr Kevin Clarke at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Waiau, North Canterbury on May 12, 1962.
They have lived in Hastings all their married life, devoting themselves to their five children and their Catholic education, to their faith and their love of sport.
