WelCom February 2018: The Aotearoa Catholic Youth Festival last December was an outstanding success according to organisers and participants. Bishop Patrick Dunn opened the festival at St Mary’s College, Ponsonby, which was attended by hundreds of Catholic youth from around the country.

Festivities included workshops, Q&A sessions with the Bishops, dance, art and cultural performances. The workshops explored faith, spirituality, relationships, care of our planet and living and working in our communities. Canadian Christian musician, Matt Maher attended as a special guest.

The weekend closed with discussions about ‘taking it home’.

A concert by Matt was held at the nearby Victory Centre with support acts Monique Holden and Grace Worship.
