DESCRIPTION:This coming Saturday (18th October) from 10am to 2pm\, the Friends of Mount Street Cemetery will be hosting an open day for people to visit and experience the cemetery. They will be on hand to describe the history of the cemetery\, its connections to early settlers and the Catholic community in Wellington\, and conservation efforts. SUMMARY:Cardinal McKeefry School final celebration and Mass
DESCRIPTION:Cardinal McKeefry School – located in the Wilton suburb of Wellington – will close its doors at the end of the 2025 school year\, after 55 years as a Catholic primary school in the area. \nThe school Board of Trustees is inviting current and past staff\, pupils and community to a final celebration and Mass. \nThe final celebration and Mass will be Saturday\, 18 October beginning at Cardinal McKeefry School (66 Albemarle Rd\, Wilton). Celebrations will start at the school from 3pm with the sharing of memories\, photos\, stories\, food\, and refreshments. A final Mass will take place at 6pm that evening at St Thomas More Church (30A Worcester Street\, Wilton).
