November 2013

Priests from overseas ministering in the Archdiocese of Wellington meet monthly to follow up on the initial ‘Landing of the Waka’ programme and ongoing formation on cultural transition.

The day usually begins with group sharing followed by input on a relevant topic of interest expressed by the group.

There is plenty of time for discussion and socialising and the priests find the gatherings useful and warmly welcome their brother priests of the archdiocese to join them. The group thanks the archdiocese for providing a platform where priests from overseas can share their rich experiences in pastoral ministry and continue to provide support and hospitality.

The group is pictured at Ss Peter and Paul Parish Lower Hutt on 14 October where Fr Andrew had organised some homemade Korean food.
