Aniela Tkacz who has won the Mr M and Mrs T Olechnowicz scholarship for people of Polish descent. Aniela is studying accounting, management and mathematics at Victoria University. Her great-grandparents were born in Poland and Aniela is involved with the Wellington Polish community.
The other scholarship winner is who is studying for a Bachelor of Design. Her mother is Polish. Sarah is involved with the Lublin Dance Company, going to Australia last year for the Pol-Art Polish Dancing Festival. The scholarships are worth $2,000 each.
