On Saturday, 4 October the EJP Commission, committees and others gathered at St Josephs, Mt Victoria to close the 2025 Season of Creation and celebrate St Francis of Assisi Feast Day.
In support of peace, those who were able joined the Steadfast for Palestine Rally. Inclement weather did not dampen the spirits of all those who participated.
Participants either returned home after the rally or found their way back to St Joseph’s for a staggered shared lunch and more kōrero. The insights from the entire day will be used to stimulate the Commission’s response to the challenges of our time, in the spirit of Catholic Social Teaching and our Gospel living.
