It was a beautiful, moving time on Saturday (June 28) as Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church in the Hutt celebrated turning 175 with a Jubilee Mass. The church (established in 1850) was completely packed, and what an incredible, multicultural Mass celebrated by Archbishop Paul Martin! After, there was fellowship (and feasting), the cutting of the anniversary cake, and tree planting by students from Sacred Heart College.
Thank you to everyone who played a role in the Mass, who helped organise it, and to everyone who attended. And thanks too for everyone who provided the amazing food!
