Implementing the Three Dimensions of Laudato si’

WelCom February 2021

Professor James Renwick of Victoria University’s School of Geography, Environmental and Earth Science is the keynote speaker about environmental challenges facing our world, at day dedicated to practical applications of Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato si’ and better care for our common home.

The Archdiocesan Ecology, Justice and Peace Commission together with members of three parishes who undertook a formation programme with Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato si’ during 2020, have organised a day of workshops on Saturday 20 March, 10am to 4.30pm, at Cardinal McKeefry School, 66 Albemarle Road, Northland, Wilton.

Parishioners and members of the wider community are invited to come along and learn about how to put into practice the ‘Three Dimension of Laudato si’.

The workshops will offer opportunities for personal, household and parish change in three main areas.

As well as Professor Renwick there will groups and speakers from the archdiocese contributing to the workshops and sessions. The day will end with a liturgy.

This event is planned to take place in Covid-19 alert level 1, but it will be postponed if Covid-19 levels escalate.
