Young Catholic Leader programme: Year 12 Students from Wellington and Palmerston North will gather in their Dioceses for a programme of leadership development and faith formation to equip them with skills for their final year of High School. Also an opportunity to form strong friendships with others from their Diocese.
26‒30 January 2016
Life Teen Summer Camp NZ: over 190 teenagers and adult leaders from parishes across New Zealand are registered for Summer Camp at Forest Lakes! With a strong presence from the Wellington and Palmerston North Dioceses and both Cardinal John and Bishop Charles to celebrate Mass, it is set to be an exciting and memorable week for all. EMMAUS, Ohakune: a faith, formation, fellowship, festival and fun event for anyone to benefit from a time of renewal or exploration of the Catholic faith. Families welcome (www.emmaus.kiwi).

Hearts Aflame: Catholic summer school for 18‒35 years, Nga Tawa College, Marton. Daily Mass, Prayer of the Church, Eucharistic Adoration; plus praise and worship, devotional prayer, and Reconciliation; daily free time for sports, relaxation and informal prayer; and heaps of opportunities to make new friends from around New Zealand. FESTIVAL ONE: an interdenominational Christian music festival at Mystery Creek Events Centre, Hamilton, with a huge line-up of bands and speakers (www.festival-one.co.nz).

World Youth Day: Krakow, Poland: The Archdiocese of Wellington will join with the Diocese of Auckland for the pilgrimage to World Youth Day. Spiritual preparation begins in February 2016.
