Understanding Te Tiriti workshop

As part of Social Justice Week, the Archdiocese of Wellington Bicultural Relations Committee is offering a two-hour session to help us understand Te Tiriti o Waitangi / The Treaty of Waitangi.

The Church in Aotearoa New Zealand is marking Social Justice Week from September 7-13. This year’s theme is “Let’s Build Peace Together”, and the bishops issue the challenge that building peace “is the vocation of every Christian”.

As part of Social Justice Week, the Archdiocese of Wellington Bicultural Relations Committee is offering a two-hour session to help us understand Te Tiriti o Waitangi / The Treaty of Waitangi and related questions such as the referendum on Māori wards during the coming local body elections.
