The Seasons for Growth Companion Training equips adults to deliver Seasons for Growth programmes in their communities. Companions are trained facilitators who guide small groups through change, loss, and grief using structured activities, resources, and reflective discussions.

Who it’s for:

Teachers, school staff, and pastoral care workers
Social workers, counsellors, and youth workers
Volunteers and community leaders passionate about supporting children, young people, parents, or adults

What you’ll learn:

How to deliver Seasons for Growth programmes safely and effectively
Skills to support emotional wellbeing and resilience in participants
Ways to create safe, small-group spaces for reflection and growth

Dates: 21st and 22nd November

Times: 9:30am – 4:30pm (both days)

Location: Social Equity Committee

COST: $300+GST + $25 Subvention Fee (for new companions only) + participant resource pack (between $115 – $202+GST depending on age targeting).
