It was a blessed day at the Garin College gym in Nelson last Sunday (19 April). The occasion: the Inaugural Mass for our newest parish, St John Paul II Parish!
Celebrated by Archbishop Paul, the gym was packed for the Mass, which also highlighted the diversity of our new parish.
The new parish covers Nelson and Tasman Catholic churches, merging Holy Family Nelson-Stoke and Our Lady of the Bays.
Please pray for the new parish and parishioners as this new era begins.
And thank you to everyone who helped make the Mass happen, and who came along!
