We regretfully acknowledge the sudden death of Sr Stephanie Kitching RSM (1946-2025) last week.
A Sister of Mercy, Sr. Stephanie’s roles in our Archdiocese included being a psychotherapist with Catholic Social Services, over 40 years a Board member for St Catherine’s College, a committee member preparing topics for the 2006 Synod, a writer for WelCom, and an interviewer for CatholicTV.net (an early Archdiocesan webcast).
Her funeral was held on Wednesday, May 14 at St Joseph’s in Mount Victoria, which was filled to capacity with those she had known and whose lives she touched.
She is missed.
