Supporting Seasons for Growth

Seasons for Growth offers a supportive and reflective space where people can make sense of their experiences, feel less alone, and build confidence in how they respond to change.

Seasons for Growth is often known as a program that supports people through grief after a death, separation, or divorce. While it absolutely does this, it is also so much more.
At Catholic Social Services, Seasons for Growth supports people of all ages who are experiencing change or loss, including:

  • Children and young people navigating change or loss
  • Parents and caregivers wanting to better support their child after the death of a loved one, or following separation or divorce
  • Adults experiencing life changes and looking for practical tools and gentle support along the way
Our programs are for anyone who wants to better understand how grief can show up in everyday life. We explore:
  • Different grief responses and grieving styles
  • How people experience loss in unique ways
  • The Tasks of Grief (developed by J. William Worden), which help people:
    – Accept what has changed
    – Process their feelings
    – Adjust to life after loss
    – Stay connected to what matters to them

Seasons for Growth offers a supportive and reflective space where people can make sense of their experiences, feel less alone, and build confidence in how they respond to change.

At its heart, Seasons for Growth is about:

  • Getting to know yourself more deeply
  • Understanding your story and your place in the world
  • Finding hope during times of change

It reminds us that change is a natural part of life — and that we don’t have to navigate it alone.
