It was a special morning on Monday as Catholic Social Services welcomed its newest social worker, David “DJ” Manuel.
DJ’s time will be split between supporting the guests at Compassion Soup Kitchen and delivering whānau-centred services alongside the wider team at Catholic Social Services.
DJ says he’s looking forward to his role and helping people from all backgrounds often living on the margins of society and finding themselves in need of a helping hand.
