ADW Stewardship ‘How To’ Day: 13 September, 2014

You are invited to join Archbishop John at our next Stewardship ‘How To’ day. It is from 10am to 4pm, Saturday, 13 September, at St Joseph’s Church, Mt Victoria. The theme is ‘Belonging’. As we engage in the re-imagining of our parishes, it is important we explore more deeply how we belong to each other, our parishes, our wider community and to God. Re-imagining has offered merging parishes the opportunity to create new identities, new visions and new missions within the Archdiocese’s overall vision.

As that process occurs, we discover we are forging new ways of belonging. As good stewards it is important we welcome such changes, and care for those on the margins who may struggle.

9.30am: Registration, tea and coffee.
10am: Welcome and prayers with Archbishop John.
10.30am–11.30am: Psychology of Belonging.
11.30am–12.30pm: Spirituality of Belonging.
12.30pm–1.30pm: Lunch (BYO).
1.30pm–3.45pm: How to Foster a Sense of Belonging.
3.45pm–4.00pm: Conclusion and prayer.
