Over the weekend of 17th – 18th November 2023, two meetings relating to the Archdiocese’s commitment to Synodality were held. The Archdiocesan Pastoral Council (APC) met with Levin Parish to learn about their ministries and work in the community. The APC will meet regularly with other Parish communities throughout the year, as we continue to find ways to live synodality in our local Church.
Every year in November, the Archdiocesan Canonical Bodies meet with the Archbishop to share their reports of the year that’s passed, and their vision and strategies for the coming year. These include the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council (APC), the Board of Administration, the Council of Priests, and the Directors. The focus was on examining how we can continue to support our local Church in mission, in a spirit of synodality and good stewardship.
