Bishop of Auckland Steve Lowe has asked the Catholic Diocese of Auckland’s Caring Foundation to run an appeal to help Cyclone Gabrielle victims in the Hamilton and Palmerston North dioceses. As we all know, the cyclone caused wide destruction in those two dioceses, particularly in Napier-Hawkes Bay, East Cape-Gisborne and the Coromandel Peninsula.
