Two new principals have been welcomed into the Catholic school community of the Archdiocese.

Lindsay Dailly, newly appointed Principal of St Peter & Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Lower Hutt, was welcomed at a mihi whakatau on Thursday, February 12 in Ss Peter & Paul Church.

New St Francis de Sales Catholic Primary School in Island Bay Principal Nik Solia was welcomed at a mihi whakatau on Monday, February 23 on the grounds of St Francis de Sales school.

Both Lindsay and Nik were received with warmth, respect, and a strong sense of whanaungatanga as their school communities gathered to formally welcome them into their roles. These ceremonies beautifully highlighted the values of connection, faith, and shared purpose that underpin our Catholic schools.

We congratulate Lindsay and Nik on their appointments and wish them every blessing.
