Sacred Heart College, Napier, invited pupils and staff from St Joseph’s School, Hastings, St Patrick’s School, Napier, and Reignier Catholic School, Greenmeadows, to spend Catholic Schools Day, May 19, with them.
A tour of sacred places was followed by lunch, an integrated religious education class and a full school assembly with prayer, a ‘Close Up’ interview conducted by the head girls, and a ‘Touch a Heart’ draw – all contributed to a magnificent day.
The common heritage of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Mission was shared and celebrated.
