On Sunday 27 August, eight children from St Joseph’s School, Ōpunakē, received their First Holy Communion from Fr Vui Hoang. It was a proud moment for their families and all of our community as the children take the next step in their sacramental journey. The children enjoyed a special First Holy Communion feast and cake after Mass.
