Cardinal John Dew officially appointed Fr Andrew Kim as parish priest at a special Mass at St Theresa’s Church, Plimmerton, on Sunday 14 March.
Members of the school and parish communities were delighted to hear Fr Andrew say he had decided to stay. A great team effort helped to make this a special day for everyone – from the liturgy group and Ange Cole, the school children, the readers, the musicians, those who presented Fr Andrew with symbols, those who cooked, cleaned and served and everyone who came along to celebrate this day.
Jocelyn Bryant is parish secretary, St Theresa Parish, Plimmerton.
