Catholic Schools Board Limited has invested more than $3 million in a record number of projects this year.
CSBL CEO Mary Neazor says she is delighted with the number of exciting projects that have been undertaken through CSBL’s Property Programme.
‘We are committed to providing excellent facilities in the Catholic schools in our region,’ says Mary. ‘And, as well as the 41 capital projects we have undertaken during the year, we have also managed 46 projects as part of our maintenance programme.
‘This year illustrates the very good cooperation between our schools and CSBL and the results that are possible when such relationships are nurtured,’ she adds.
‘We have also been very pleased to notice how school and parish links have continued to be strengthened through these projects. Just one example is the new Fitzgibbon Library in Seatoun where, while CSBL paid for the majority of the building project, there has been a real community effort with the school and parish communities being actively involved in financing and completing the extras agreed to by the school.
