Teachers are taonga who turn over the paua shell of children’s lives to reveal the beautiful colours of the potential/good news that is within.
Teachers are like miners who work patiently to search for the gold within each pupil. Like the Crunchie Bar kid they keep unwrapping the treasure of each child from the treasure chest of each child’s potential.
