Volunteer extraordinaire Veronica Williams received a Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice award in a special Mass on June 13. Archbishop John Dew aligned her with the women of the gospel who followed Jesus and provided for him out of their resources.
He told her that her many friends and family were there to ‘celebrate the good news of the kingdom that your life and service have been for all of us’.
Veronica is well known for her tireless work at the Cenacle and in the Catholic Education Centre and library and for proof-reading Wel-com—all for love. We join the Pope in saluting you, Veronica.
Welcome to our new Archbishop
