‘We are a village and we are the hands and feet of Jesus.’
During the fourth term this year at St Theresa’s School, Plimmerton, the inquiry focus was on the Catholic Social Teaching ‘Element of Participation’.
The whole school explored the concept of a village, what’s in a village and what is needed in a village. Individual classes explored the concept resulting in a sculpture that captured everyone’s ideas of what is needed in a thriving village. The sculpture has been on display in the reception area.
Gina Rollandi is Office Manager, St Theresa’s Catholic School Plimmerton.
