For World Environment Day – Wednesday 5 June, all parishes and schools are invited to plant a tree as a symbol of solidarity with the people of the Amazon and a response to the call of Pope Francis to ‘care for our common home’. Be part of a world-wide movement to protect the Amazon rainforest and the people who live there. Help to save ‘the lungs of the world’. This invitation is from the Archdiocesan Commission for Ecology, Justice and Peace.
