Housing is a very big issue in New Zealand at present, and not just in Auckland. Wellington also has people without homes or in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.  We need to keep bringing this issue to the fore in ways which reach people and influence those who can do something about it. For this reason Bishop Justin Duckworth and Cardinal John Dew will be hosting a “Forum on Housing” at the Anglican Cathedral on Wednesday 9 August at 6.30pm (with drinks and snacks from 5.45pm and the Wellington Community Choir from 6.15pm). There will be community stories of the effects of the housing crisis; Christian perspectives on housing and party spokespeople sharing their housing vision and policies.
