The Archdiocesan Synod is now to be held on the weekend of 15-17 September. It was originally to take place on 22-24 September, but since the convocation of the Synod the Prime Minister has announced that the General Election will take place on 23 September. It would have been impractical for the Synod to be held on the weekend of the election, so the date has been changed.
