This year’s Laudato Si’ Week theme is “Seeds of Hope” encouraging us to be the seeds of hope in our lives and our world, rooted in faith and love.
The Integral Ecology Committee, a subcommittee of the Archdiocesan Ecology, Justice and Peace Commission focuses on the 2017 Archdiocesan Synod recommendation 8: Go, you are sent to care for creation. Activities of the Committee include supporting formation on Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ (2015) and his follow-up Apostolic Exhortation Laudate Deum (LD 2023). The Integral Ecology Committee Convenor is Estelle Henrys.
In 2022, the Ecology Justice and Peace Commission signed up to the Laudato Si’ Action Platform, which has developed resources for Laudato Si Week. The Integral Ecology Committee encourages your Parish, School or Community group to promote and share these resources throughout the week.
