Cystic Fibrosis Wellington has an annual competition where different groups decorate a Christmas tree in the Michael Fowler Centre and people pay to vote on which tree they like best.
On November 28 a group of Year 12 girls from St Mary’s College took up the opportunity offered to the Sisters of Mercy and decorated a Christmas tree for them.
The girls used decorations in their school colours of black and silver.
They were amazed at the extent of thought the many groups in the competition had put into their decorations comprising many different themes including kiwiana and beach themes.
