WelCom December 2018:
A contingent of 21 New Zealanders, including Bishop Charles Drennan, will join thousands from around the world at the international 2019 World Youth Day in Panama, in January. WYD begins on 22 January with an opening Mass. Participants will hear daily sessions hosted by bishops from throughout the world and there’ll be events in the afternoons and evenings. Pope Francis will celebrate the closing Mass on Sunday 27 January with up to one million expected.
