Kevin McEvoy of Upper Hutt with Anne-Marie McCarten of St Vincent de Paul Society and his wife Deirdre after receiving the papal medal, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, for long and devoted service to the Church.
Archbishop John Dew presented Kevin with the medal during Mass in the Sisters of Mercy Chapel Upper Hutt on 17 November.
