People from around the archdiocese gathered in the cathedral on Friday August 26 to pray for the success of the Stewardship Institute on the weekend.
Archbishop John Dew [inset] began the day of prayer with a reflection on the Woman at the Well [Jn 4].
Also speaking were Sr Anne Powell, Joy Cowley on connecting with the God fire deep within, Fr Alan Roberts on ‘being with’ and Sr Catherine Jones on being present to others – present to God.
The day of peace and reflection drew a steady crowd of those encouraged to pray for the weekend’s gathering on stewardship – sharing time, talent and treasure in the archdiocese’ parishes and pastoral areas.
Welcome to our new Archbishop
