On February 11 Archdiocesan Pastoral Services in conjunction with Pastoral Area Liturgy Support (PALS) hosted a liturgy preparation workshop for the seasons of Lent, the Triduum and Easter.
Some 25 people from as far away as the Kapiti Coast came to the Catholic Centre.
During the four hours there was prayer and a reflection on the season of Lent led by PALS graduates and then a look at the readings in the context of the seasons rather than taking them in isolation.
Food followed by a sharing of resources saw our time come to an end.
There was a general appreciation of the shared wisdom, faith and knowledge that comes with working together to gain a deeper insight into this part of our liturgical year.
