St Francis Xavier’s Tawa, paid tribute to the All Blacks in its school production this year basing it on the Rugby World Cup and welcoming visitors to Aotearoa New Zealand.
The children singing the national anthem in Maori and English at the end was very moving, particularly as a ‘whistle’ blew before they started singing. A perfect ‘grand finale’. The boys in front with Japanese bandannas represented visitors from that country.
