Young Vinnies at Cullinane College organised a mufti day on 1 July to raise money for Starship Hospital, after seeing online Starship asking for donations for more beds. ‘The group gifted the $700 raised for this cause,’ said Mr Simon Peterson, teacher in charge of Young Vinnies. ‘They meet at school fortnightly to pray and discuss ways to help and serve others, with any money they raise going to a charity of their choice at the end of school term.’
