WelCom July 2017: Rome has recently released an online survey for youth around the world to gather feedback for the 2018 Synod of Catholic Bishops in Rome, about young people, faith and discernment. The questions have been designed to help the Church better understand the lives, attitudes and concerns of 16- to 29-year-olds around the world. Answers will be collated to form the basis of the Synod’s working documents.
The New Zealand Catholic Bishops have been working with the new Youth Council to formulate a local version of the online survey for New Zealand youth that will gather substantial feedback for the Bishops’ report to Rome in October. The New Zealand youth survey is expected to be released online in the next few weeks.
